What is a Clay Straw Wall

A clay straw wall system uses deconstructed straw bales tumbled with a clay-slurry and packed into forms to create a wall.  The straw provides natural insulation, while the clay becomes the glue that binds the wall together, protects the straw from mold and fungi and increases the thermal mass of the wall.
